Yes. Couples can hold a civil wedding ceremony in the Lantern Hall which can seat up to 150 guests. Wedding ceremonies can also take place in our Winchester Suite, Library or Great Hall, and from Spring 2021 couples will be able to get married on the Fox's Steps of the Castle. Farnham Castle has two Chapels where couples are able to celebrate Church Of England ceremonies should they choose to.

Couples are more than welcome to have a celebrant ceremony outdoors. Speak to our team to find out more.

We have an extensive wine list and a professional team of experienced chefs who can help pair your chosen wedding breakfast menu with an excellent choice of wine from our list.

Our in-house team of chefs have been working together for many years. They are true experts at what they do, and the food they produce is second to none. You will be invited to a menu tasting experience should you choose to book your wedding at Farnham Castle.

The bride and her bridal party may access the private Gatehouse from 8am to start getting ready as early as possible. Wedding suppliers are granted access in to Farnham Castle from 10am on the morning of a wedding. If the Castle is available, there may be the option to have a pre-stay, the night before your wedding. Speak to our team regarding availability.

Carriages tend to be at Midnight, although we can offer the extension of a late licence should you require one. Please speak to our team to discuss further details.

We do have noise limitations in place, however you and your guests would not notice as bands and DJs sound fantastic in the Great Hall.

Yes - although a licence is required, but our specialist wedding team can help you obtain one. We have a selection of recommended firework companies who know Farnham Castle really well. We can certainly point you in the right direction if you would like to feature a firework display during your evening wedding reception.

Yes - we allow biodegradable confetti to be thrown on the Fox's steps, leading out of the Lantern Hall after your wedding ceremony. We can recommend an excellent supplier of biodegradable confetti should you require one.

Unfortunately we do not allow open flames at Farnham Castle, but in the past we have seen couples use faux candles and these look just as good.

Our stunning honeymoon suite is a beautiful room featuring a large, comfortable bed, a king-size bathroom (with slipper bath), a seating area and incredible views over the Castle grounds and the historic town of Farnham.

Yes - we offer 33 comfortable guest rooms in and around the Castle Estate, including the honeymoon suite.

As Farnham Castle is located at the top of Castle Street in the town of Farnham, there are several hotels close by and on the outskirts of town for your guests to enjoy, should there not be enough bedrooms for everyone at the Castle itself.
