Hintlesham Golf Club is a beautiful venue for a wedding. Due to its location (although it is just ten minutes from the heart of Ipswich) not everyone is aware of its existence, therefore making it a hidden gem that you simply must visit when making the decision about your wedding venue.
Hintlesham Golf Club sits within 150 acres of Suffolk countryside with plenty of picture perfect spots for photographs; including corn fields, mature trees and a rolling golf course. With beautiful views from the clubhouse and picturesque surroundings, there is also an outside decking area where your guests can enjoy the vista.
The function room has a warm, relaxed feel, with a large bar, beautiful chandeliers and a comfortable sofa seating area. It is possible to invite 100 guests to a civil ceremony in the Orchard Room and then open up the folding door to host a wedding reception for up to 140 sit down guests. The team at Hintlesham Golf Club are used to hearing an audible intake of breath when their guests visit, as the wall of windows provide a simply breathtaking view of the Suffolk landscape and dramatic skyline.
The Golf Club has a civil ceremony licence and can host weddings throughout the year. The venue works well for summer or winter weddings, with the outdoor decking area seamlessly connecting the two spaces.
