Belvoir Castle is the ancestral home of the Dukes of Rutland. Boasting magnificent turrets and towers, this fairy tale wedding venue will capture your heart as soon as you set your eyes on it.

For a religious ceremony, the intimate Rutland Family Chapel, seating up to 80, plays host to the Church of England ceremonies and blessings. The Ballroom, with its floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows, ornate chandeliers and gothic archways is the perfect choice for a civil ceremony with up to 120 guests. The Guardroom, which features high ceilings, open fires and walls adorned with a fine display of military paraphernalia offers a spectacular setting for your civil ceremony, and is licensed for 100 guests. Plus, every bride is given a beautiful suite of rooms for her and her bridesmaids to get ready in ahead of the ceremony.

If you’re dreaming of a romantic outdoor wedding in the sunshine, you’ll adore the beautiful lakeside marquee. Overlooking idyllic lakes and surrounded by trees, grassland and the dramatic view of Belvoir Castle on the skyline, the marquee can accommodate up to 450 guests. We add an extra special touch to your wedding at Belvoir Castle, firing of the Duke’s 7 French cannons, treating your wedding guests to a guided tour of the castle, giving you the use of the Duke’s sword to cut your wedding cake.
