About The Kingscote Barn
The Kingscote Barn is a beautifully restored 17th Century Cotswold Stone Barn set in its own private valley in the heart of a 400 acre farm offering complete privacy from roads and houses. A truly magical place for your very special day.
Our exposed Cotswold stone walls, original beams and an Oak gallery offer plenty of natural light with large glass doors leading out onto the south facing lawn and terrace with stunning views across the valley.
Get married outside in our Linhay with views across the valley or inside under the oak gallery. We offer the wedding breakfast for up to 150 guests and evening reception of up to 200.
Our courtyard and street food kitchen featuring our woodfired Pizza Oven and at the front, a beautiful rose garden is perfect for those important romantic photographs.
The Kingscote Barn offers you not only a stunning venue but also a choice of catering companies who have all been selected for their high quality of service and flexibility. We are fully licensed with a bespoke bar.
There are friendly, experienced event coordinators to help you through the organisation for the day - always on hand to answer questions and give guidance so that the planning of your wedding is the fun and pleasure it should be and, when the big day arrives, you can relax in the knowledge that everything you have requested will happen.
Post party why not let yours guests relax in our luxurious variety of accommodation for up to 50, and even have a family style breakfast the next morning or a hamper delivered to your room to stay a little longer.

FAQs
Yes, Kingscote Barn is an exclusive use venue. You get the whole valley for your wedding plus our onsite accommodation for just your guests
Yes of course! Your ceremony will need to be booked with the Gloucestershire Registry Office. We recommend a 2pm ceremony here at Kingscote Barn and you have the choice of indoor or outdoor.
We normally host our outdoor ceremonies between May-September but if we have good weather out of those months then we would be happy to host the ceremony outdoors. Outdoor ceremonies are obviously weather dependent and we will always do a plan for an indoor ceremony too, just in case the weather doesn’t allow for an outdoor ceremony. We then make a decision about where to hold the ceremony the day before your wedding as this gives us time to prepare for what we are setting up on the morning. If there is more than a 30% chance of rain then we would advise having an indoor ceremony.
You can provide your own drinks for the drinks reception, wedding breakfast and even throughout the evening. Your caterer will add service charges for providing glasses, staffing and recycling of the empties. No additional charge will be made by The Kingscote Barn
No, we have a list of brilliant approved caterer's who you can choose from for your wedding.
Access to the barn is from 10.30am the morning of your wedding.
The Barn tends to have a finish time of 12:30 for music and the bar to close, to then depart by 1am. However extensions can be arranged with the barn at an additional charge.
We have no noise restrictions in the main barn.
Yes, we work with a local approved supplier Coates Fireworks who can provide an amazing display (http:/www. coatesfireworks.co.uk/kingscote.htm).
Of course! We only allow dry lavender for our outdoor ceremonies, and dried petal's inside. Bubbles do make a great alternative to confetti!
Yes, as long as these are in a safe enclosed candle holder, to ensure no wax is melted on any linen or surfaces. We recommend LED candles!
Yes. This is complimentary for the couple the night of the wedding. - which is our amazing tree house! - not to be missed!!
Yes! Our rooms vary from, pods, lodges a shepherds Hut & cottages, this is exclusive to you and your wedding guests the night of the wedding only, we can accommodate around 50 guests for the night of your wedding at the barn.
Yes, we do offer a extensive list of recommended nearby accommodation if we don't have enough here on site.
We love dogs, so its a yes. All we ask is that someone is there to look after them during the day. we can recommend some amazing doggy day care if you want
Our Sustainability Commitments
We are very passionate about sustainability at KB, we have invested heavily in long term solutions including solar panels, a biomass boiler and sensor lighting (where appropriate) Surrounded by a working farm we carbon offset as much as possible by using local and natural resources. We recycle as much of our waste as we can and have a series of water saving measures in place also using our own Natural Spring Water in the Barn. In 2019 we were immensely proud to be part of the project part funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, bringing unique accommodation exclusively to The Kingscote Barn
