The Old Hall is a recently refurbished Jacobean manor house, set in its own unique and historic estate of 2000 acres in the heart of Cambridgeshire.

The Old Hall Ely is a family run business established as a private wedding venue in 2012, offering exclusive use in their family home. A Jacobean Grade II listed property with Oliver Cromwell connections, purchased by the Morbey family in 1860 and restored back to its former glory, as you will see it today. Their guests are accommodated in a number of en-suite bedrooms, one of which is their four poster bridal suite. This room has been voted one of the most luxurious bedrooms in Cambridgeshire. It is complimentary and is offered to our brides to change and relax in before their ceremony and then to spend their wedding night. An oak structured pavilion with one of the best views of Ely Cathedral, overlooking their garden lakes for the warmer outdoor summer weddings or alternatively the main hall with a roaring log fire for winter weddings; we offer a capacity of 130 people for your ceremony. Their dedicated catering team will help you design and choose your bespoke menu, which will be delicious by anyone’s standards. Menu and wine tastings are also offered to balance each other for your perfect wedding breakfast. The wedding marquee is fully insulated with double glazed panoramic windows, offering stunning views of Ely Cathedral and surrounding farm land.
