After the stress of the dress, choosing your bridal tiara or hair accessories can seem like a bit of a relief. But bear in mind it can be very tricky. It is a fine balancing act between the wedding dress, bridal shoes, wedding jewellery and finally hair accessories. It is worth trying on a few different bridal tiaras with your wedding dress so you can see which one creates the perfect image for your special day.

After the Royal Wedding in 2011 bridal tiaras have become increasingly popular. However take caution that it is not one thing too many. First of all ask yourself do I really need this? If the answer is yes, look at your dress; is it A line or does it have lace sleeves? Are you looking for that princess feel? If the answer is still yes then bridal tiaras are for you! Whether it is pearls that you go for or diamante is your thing, try and coordinate it a little with your wedding dress, bridal shoes or wedding jewellery.

If however, you think traditional is not for you, you could go for a modern twist. Have you considered a vintage comb or a side band? They provide an exquisite alternative for your hair and can hold your brial veil in place.

Some people prefer not to have any pearls or diamante in their hair at all, but instead go for flowers. They are fantastic for relaxed and shabby chic weddings, creating a fresh feminine look, and a relaxed summery feel, setting the perfect pretty tone for your garden wedding.

An alternative option is to have a feather or netting hair accessory. It provides a unique look that can give you an extra edge. You could even make one yourself, to keep costs downs. Remember less is more!
