1) Hire the Right People

If you want to arrange a hen party that is one of its kind, then one of the best things you can do is hire professionals; they can arrange a hen party for you based on your requirements. There are many party planners out there, but we recommend choosing someone who is a specialist in arranging hen parties, such as Flock Events. These specialists can create a unique Hen Party experience for you and your girls that will make for a totally memorable experience!

2) Know What Your Guests Might Enjoy

The key to arranging any successful event lies in understanding your audience. It means that you need to make sure that all your arrangements are aligned with the taste and personalities of your guests and of course, the bride! More often than not, the guests of hen parties are close friends and family, and you probably already know about their likes and dislikes, so arranging something that is exciting for all shouldn't be difficult. Remember though, this a special day that's based around the bride, so it's best to choose elements with her in mind!

3) Be Creative

Your bride is unique and probably has some activities in mind that she would love to do at her hen party.  So, it's a good idea to speak to her and see if there's anything, in particular, she is keen to do. You might need to do some research to get ideas of activities that your bride and the other hens will love.

Then you can get really creative! Have a think about some unique activities that you can do that the bride will love but might not expect. You can also add some fun games to your hen night activities and even choose a cool theme for everyone to partake in.

4) Don’t Compromise on the Quality of Food

No good party is complete without good quality food! Therefore, you need to invest your energies in planning meals and nibbles that everyone is going to remember. Of course, if there's going to be alcohol involved, it's a good idea to ensure everyone is fed anyway; but why not think of something special to treat the bride and her closest to? Maybe you can serve the bride's favourites in a stunning three-course meal or splash out on a gorgeous finger food platter. The choice is yours!

Top Tip: Make sure that you note the nutritional requirements of people coming to your hen party. This is important because you don’t want any allergic reactions or for anyone to go home hungry!

5) Don’t Forget to Follow COVID Guidelines and Be Safe

If you are planning the hen night during the pandemic, there will be guidelines you need to follow and take into consideration - all of this will depend on where you are based, so make sure when you are planning your event, you get clued up on what the rules are. You'll also want to consider the mitigations you will need to take such as wearing masks in indoor spaces, participating in track and trace and carrying hand sanitiser.

Consider the ways you can keep everyone safe, but still have a wonderful time. A great way to do this is to ensure most of the activites take place outdoors where it's easier to socially distance and distribute items such as personalised facemasks and hand sanitiser to make the safety regulations part of the fun! Most importantly, make sure everyone attending is aware of the guidelines so that you can all stay safe and have fun!
