About Buzz Manchester String Quartet
This Classical String Quartet is based in Manchester, performing regularly for weddings and events across the North West of England. With 100’s of outstanding performances they have built a solid reputation both musically, and visually.
As well as their String Quartet, they offer a Trio and have one of the largest string repertoires in the UK.
They use Samsung Galaxy Tablets instead of sheet music, which enable them to provide a more efficient and sophisticated service. So no clothes pegs and music flapping in the wind!
The music of your wedding or special event will be given an elegance and extra ambience by this excellent and experienced group.
No occasion big or small will be outside of their experience and skill set. They have already enjoyed performances with Elbow, Clean Bandit, The 1975, Will Young, Pet Shop Boys, Andrea Bocelli, Dame Kiri Ti Kanawa, Leslie Garrett, Russell Watson, Bryn Terfel, Katherine Jenkins, Gorrilaz, Katie Melua, Aled Jones and Julian Lloyd Webber.
As well as private functions, the musicians of this group have performed at many prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Royal Festival Hall.
They perform regularly with some of the country’s top professional orchestras such as BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Hallé Orchestra, CBSO, Northern Ballet, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Sinfonia Cymru, Manchester Camerata, Opera North and Northern Chamber Orchestra.
Live radio and television performances include BBC Radio 3, BBC 1 Children in Need, BBC Radio Wales, BBC 4 (The BBC Proms), Songs of Praise, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps and Red Nose Day.

We have one of the largest repertoires in the country from classical through to pop covers.
In and around Manchester and the north of England.
From around £750 depending on the date, location and length of playing required.
We simply require four armless chairs and some shelter if we are playing outside to protect our instruments. We will arrive 45 minutes - 1 hour before playing.
Around 45 minutes and we often get booked for up to three hours.
