A Wedding Celebrant offers a bespoke service that is personal to you. Their ceremonies are not currently legally binding in England and Wales (however, we hope this will change soon following the law commission's proposals), but the ceremonies are legally recognised in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

A wedding celebrant is a professionally trained and experienced officiant that can design your ceremony to be totally personalised to you as a couple and truly represent your relationship. They will often tell the story of your relationship through the ceremony and will add any personal touches you want so no two ceremonies are the same, unlike a service performed by a registrar or a vicar which generally follow the same pattern.

From adding in family traditions to cultural elements, a celebrant can create your dream ceremony so it is a symbol of you and your partner and will stand-out in the memory of your wedding guests. There are also various exciting and unique rituals that can be performed, such as handfasting, sand ceremonies and ring warming. Speak to a professional celebrant to understand what they are able to deliver for you.
