Registrars are employed by the local authority, the ceremonies they conduct are legally binding. Celebrants are not employed by an authority. Their ceremonies are not legally binding.
A celebrant ceremony is tailored to your wishes allowing religious and symbolic content. Humanists don’t believe in religion and will only offer you a secular or non-religious ceremony.
Yes we do. Civil Weddings supports marriage equality for all. But please note, we can only cater for a celebration ceremony not a legal binding ceremony.
